The main dishes of the 7 Lidi are the dishes based on fish, crustaceans and molluscs, cooked according to typical local recipes.

In addition to fish, Comacchio and the province of Ferrara are renowned for the production of DOP (protected designation of origin) products such as the "sand" wines of the Bosco Eliceo, Voghiera garlic and IGP (protected geographical indication) products such as Rice from the Po Delta, green asparagus from Altedo, pear from Emilia Romagna, salama da sugo (a particular type of sausage made from different parts of the pig mixed with salt, pepper and spices as well as red wine) and Coppia Ferrarese (a tasty typical bread).
The fresh seasonal products of the area are the Carrot from the Ferrara Delta, the Strawberry from Lagosanto, the Peach from Romagna, the Pumpkin from Ferrara, the watermelon and the Melon from Emilia.
Typical and representative dishes of our territory are those featuring the "queen of the valleys", the renowned Comacchio eel. It is cooked grilled, marinated, stewed or in simple but very tasty first courses.
